Solvency II Process Lead

Panoramic Associates urgently need to hear from experienced Insurance professionals who have proven expertise within the processes and workings of insurance companies and whilst by no means essential, ideally have a thorough understanding of Solvency II.

Our client is a leading multinational financial services organisation with operations in a wide variety of regions and sectors. They have an exciting long term contract opportunity for a Solvency II Process Lead to design, put in place and operate a mechanism to manage, monitor and maintain the overall Solvency II design against on-going developments and changes over the lifecycle of the SII programme. Key duties within the role will include:
Ensure integrity with the design principles, levels of ambition, Key Design Decisions, Target Operating Model, chosen options and delivery of benefits; Ensure consistency in design across business units & functional areas but with a particular focus on actuarial issues; Maintain and update the Target Operating Model design against on-going developments; Manage a process to regularly review and update the work-package leads, summarising and escalating key findings and issues to the Design Authority Lead, and feeding Design Authority decisions and outputs back into the TOM design and requirements; Develop and maintain the TOM and requirements catalogue for the transition states; Help ensure delivery of the design in accordance with the roadmap and implementation plan, in conjunction with the PMO and finally provide appropriate support to stakeholder management and communication activities.

Our client is ideally looking for someone with experience of understanding, producing, maintaining and updating process flows and operating models; Working knowledge of Solvency II regulations, CEIOPS advice and FSA publications; excellent documentation skills, enabling accurate, concise reports, submissions and documentation and finally strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to form strong business unit relationships.
