JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Systems Director, this position is based within the Group Insurance Division. The key purpose of the job is to ensure that all aspects of the operational IT systems and associated processes used by the Insurance Division are managed effectively.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE:

Essential

-MS Office and MS Project knowledge
-Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
-Good written and verbal communication skills
-Experience of working with people at all levels in an organisation
-Microsoft Terminal Server management
-Understanding of Microsoft networking - group policies, profiles etc

Desirable

Supporting an Active Directory managed environment

ITIL exposure

MS Exchange administration (possibly to be replaced by alternative mail system)

Insurance systems knowledge, preferably in a relevant industry sector


Experience of Customer Service and/or Customer Relationship Management applications, particularly on the web and in call centers

Basic telephony (ACD) knowledge/exposure

Good understanding of networking concepts and technologies
