Financial Reporting Manager

Prepares quarterly and annual financial statements for the European subsidiaries. Prepares components required for inclusion in various financial statement certification packages. Conducts reviews with senior management and manages the distribution of these statements to authorized internal/external users.

Prepares and submits timely (in conjunction with Legal department) annual and interim regulatory reports for all European subsidiaries for each jurisdiction in which those subsidiaries are licensed to do business.

Prepares P&L and balance sheet forecasts for separate legal entities in conjunction with the planning process.

Works with outside advisors in each country to identify appropriate regulatory reporting based on business activities and licensing.

Owns the internal capital adequacy process documentation working with local management, the risk management process and outside advisors in each country. Ensure that documentation is regularly updated and presented to the appropriate board.

Prepares the monthly management reports in accordance with the approved methodology, conducts review process, and ensures timely delivery of these reports to senior management.

Ensures compliance with VAT regulations in each country and ensure timely filing of returns

Maintains a robust knowledge of host country Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) as well as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as applicable.

Implements financial statement reporting requirements for structure changes throughout Europe. This includes potential restructuring to representative offices in France, Switzerland and the Netherlands to branch or corporate entity structures.

Participates in transfer pricing studies and be familiar with local requirements around documentation and changes in corporate tax and transfer pricing approaches.

Develops and implements procedural changes to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness and/or to meet new reporting requirements. Updates and maintains departmental procedures for financial reporting.

Develops, maintains, analyzes and reports departmental metrics for inclusion in departmental metrics. Provides input and support into creation and maintenance of new metrics.
