EMEA Revenue Controller

This industry leading Asset Management Firm are currently searching for an exceptional Finance Director for the position of EMEA Revenue Controller. Based in the Edinburgh office the successful candidate will manage a team of approximately 25 staff and will be responsible for the accurate and timely booking of all net revenues within the EMEA region under US GAAP.

Analytical review and various local and global reporting will be key to the role as well as developing strong relationships with internal providers (e.g. Operations) and external fund accountants and transfer agents.

Key responsibilities:

*Ensure that all net revenue accounting is performed timely according to US GAAP and meeting corporate deadlines
*Build relationships with cross functional and external teams to enhance working relationships and improve performance on service level agreements which in turn enhances monthly results
*Providing support to entity controllers for board review and to Business Finance on AUM to Revenue lash up
*Monthly account sign off involving reconciliation and substantiation of all balance sheet accounts
*Ensure strong controls and procedures are in place in relation to the General Ledger
*Manage a team of 5 direct reports but a team of 25 total individuals including recruitment, coaching, development and performance management

The ideal candidate will have the following skills / experience:

*CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with significant post qualified experience
*Experience in a similar role, preferably in Financial Services, with strong focus on operating platforms
*Ability to lead and achieve results through influence
*Strong awareness of global accounting standards, preferably US and UK GAAP
*Ability to clearly and confidently communicate in verbal and written form, with all levels of business
*Self starter, highly numerate, quick learner, team player, with an ability to adjust to change and the desire to take on responsibility is required
*Demonstrated management of a diverse team with towards multiple BAU and project deadlines is required
