Who they are

They are a dynamic, $45billion turnover international trading group whose global trading activities span oil, gas, energy and metals trading. They have offices in 35 countries and are one of the leading commodity trading groups with a highly entrepreneurial spirit. They are now recruiting at various levels within corporate finance at their corporate HQ in Switzerland.

What you will be doing
You will work very closely with senior management and the CFO
You will lead acquisitions and sales and be involved in negotiations of JV agreements, shareholders agreements and financial re-structures including financing of debt provisions
You will deal with CEOs, CFOs and government authorities in the negotiations of agreements described above
You will be involved in the negotiations of documentation, creating information memorandum and financial model and pitching the deal amongst a selected group of banks
You will analyse and model corporate information to produce the company investment memorandum
You will represent the company as a board member of the company's mining interests, participating at board level in our group representing the finance department
Deal with lawyers about legislation in different countries and speak with management of different companies to value companies around the world
You will participate in the documentation of the various private placements

Who they are looking for
You must have an excellent academic background with a minimum first degree with a minimum 2:1 result
You must have gained previous transaction or corporate finance experience
You must have gained previous oil, energy, mining or commodities experience in a blue chip organisation
You should have strong modelling skills
You must be commercially minded and driven to succeed
You should have a flexible attitude in order to flourish within a fast expanding company.
