Business Analysts/Project Managers with Capital Markets experience

Our client is the London office of a global leader in the consulting and advisory services space. Due to unprecedented success of their Financial Services Group, we have been given the remit to help further grow this team.

We are specifically looking for skills within wholesale banking/capital markets. Candidates with experience in the following areas are of particular interest: IT, Operations and Product Control.

Ideal applicants will have a strong projects and/or operations background and will be familiar with business analysis or project management methodologies and approaches (eg Prince 2, Six Sigma etc). Previous consulting experience would be highly advantageous. Candidates with extensive programme management experience in investment banking are also of high interest.

Submitted profiles should reflect appropriate experience of the following:

* In depth understanding of one or more capital market product areas (including OTC and exchange traded derivatives, equity and fixed income securities, commodities and FX)
* Good understanding of end to end transaction process flows for the various capital markets participants (broker/dealers, prime brokers, custodians, market infrastructure)
* Track record of successful delivery on projects for wholesale banking and capital market clients
* Candidates with some FS consulting within IT or business transformation/change would be ideal for Senior Manager hires.
* Ability to build strong client relationships
* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding how to identify potential areas of risk, carry out any suitable reviews (and know when to escalate)
* Relationship management skills with ability to manage client expectations
* Innovative problem solving skills
